Islamic Book Exhibition Held in Jakarta


JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - Exhibition of Islamic books or Islamic Book Fair (IBF) was officially opened in 2013 in Senayan, Jakarta, Friday (03/01/2013). The event which is expected to be the largest tourist destination and most comprehensive Islamic books lasted until March 10, 2013.


Committee Chairman IBF to-12 Khaerudin said, the IBF public can get the book from the publisher's discount up to 70 percent. The committee designed a variety of activities, such as seminars, book review, meeting characters, races and games young children, the study of mathematics and religious festivals, and festivals nasheed.

Khaerudin explained IBF followed by 95 publishers this year, two bookstores, 15 distributors, 37 non-book (multiproduk), 8 the mass media, and 5 corporate sponsors. IBF is an annual activity held Indonesian Publishers Association (IKAPI) DKI Jakarta.
