Submitted Amurang plant to PLN
Amurang, KOMPAS.com-Steam Power Plant (CPP) 2 North Sulawesi (Sulawesi), with a capacity of 2X25 MW power plant known as Amurang, Thursday (03/07/2013) morning handed PT Wijaya Karya (Wika) to PT State Electricity Company (PLN).
Delivery of the power plant was witnessed by the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Jero Watjik and Deputy Governor of North Sulawesi Province Jauhari Kansil and Christina Parentu Regent South Minahasa, Tawaang Village, District Tenga, South Minahasa.
"As a national contractor, PT Wika had the honor to contribute through the work of engineering, procurement and construction of power plants (Engineering, Procurement and Construction / EPC) in full and the first time to build a power plant," said President Director of PT Wika, Perbowo Stars on Thursday this.
According to the Star, Amurang power plant is part of the accelerated development of the power plant first phase 10,000 MW outside Java, announced the government to meet the needs of power supply in Indonesia, especially in North Sulawesi.
Plant construction contract signing Amurang done PT Wika with PT PLN dated October 30, 2007, and continued with the laying of the first stone on March 15, 2008.
"Both units have been operating well and has been certified operational feasibility of PLN Jaser in October last year, followed by a statement of the commercial operation date (COD) by PT PLN UIP Kitsulmapa," explained the star again.
