5 people buried by landslides in Bogor, 2 found dead

JAKARTA - Heavy rain that fell since early this morning, causing soil logsor in Bogor, West Java.

Head of Data Information and Public Relations, National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB), Sutopo Purwo Nugroho, said, five houses in RT 06/02, Village Cipayung Girang, District Megamendung, landslides buried this morning at approximately 6:00 pm.


"Five people were buried in the ground. Two of the victims was found in a state of death, "wrote in an official statement BNPB Sutopo received Okezone, Tuesday (15/01/2013).

Two deaths known named Aris (50) and Hendri (7). While the other three are still in search of a joint search and rescue team, from BPBD Bogor regency, police, military, and society.
