Seized porn pictures, Convict Sues South Korean Prisons Authority

Seoul - nonsense! An inmate rape cases in South Korea (ROK), who was languishing in prison filed a lawsuit to the local prison authorities. In the complaint, inmates sue prison authorities to restore hundreds of pornographic images seized from his cell.


The lawsuit was filed after officers seized about 200 pornographic photos of 46-year-old inmate. The photos were confiscated at an unnamed man's, was transferred to another prison in the city of Gwangju in late 2012 ago.

Similarly, as delivered by the local prison spokesman who declined to be named told AFP on Monday (28/01/2013).

The spokesman added that any prisoner or detainee is entitled to bring an adult magazine in their room. However, pornographic pictures and photos of officers seized the prisoner had been 'over the line'.

"By allowing him to retain the image is certainly contrary to the goal of rehabilitation in prison, referring to the quantity and level of pornography," said the spokesman.

In tort law, the inmates claimed officers had robbed his belongings indispensable in custody. The trial of the case will begin to be held next March.

"We have faced many lawsuits filed over the prisoners of their goods were seized by a variety of reasons, but had never been associated with porn like this," said the spokesman.
