ICW Threatens School Polisikan Keep RSBI
Jakarta - Indonesia Corruption Watch (ICW) with Anti Commercialization Education Coalition held a celebration event for the deletion RSBI by the Constitutional Court (MK). Two NGOs will work together to oversee the schools that do not comply with the Court's decision which overturned legal RSBI program.
"We will keep an eye on, if there are schools that still held a flagship program after this Court's decision, we will report it to the police. Therefore had no legal basis," said Public Service Monitoring ICW researcher Febri Hendri ICW Office, Jl Kalibata in South Jakarta Wednesday (01/09/2013).
According to Febri, article 50 paragraph 3 of the Education Law was abolished MK is in the spirit of the 1945 Constitution because it is discriminative against the state of society. Going forward, the government should be able to facilitate all schools to improve the quality of pendidikian Indonesia.
"Furthermore, there is no more excellent school, because everything must be excelled. And this is the government's duty to facilitate," said a member of the Coalition of Anti Commercialization Education Schools Without Borders (STB), Bambang Wisudo.
National Education Law No. 20 of 2003 has made it clear that the government is obliged to ensure the education of its citizens. With the abolition of the legal basis RSBI, Article 50 Paragraph 3 of the Law on National Education System, the school no longer be eligible to manage public funds for education.
Celebration concluded with the cutting cone that was distributed to members of the Anti Commercialization Education Coalition. They welcomed the decision of the Constitutional Court.
