Cornelis-Christiandy Inaugurated Today

PONTIANAK, KOMPAS.com - Cornelis and Christiandy Sanjaya will be sworn in as Governor and Deputy Governor of West Kalimantan, Monday (01/14/2012) afternoon. They are petahana Governor and Deputy Governor of West Kalimantan.


Secretary of the Legislative Assembly of West Kalimantan Soerachmat Bambang explained, Cornelis and Christiandy be inaugurated by the Minister of the Interior (Interior Minister) Gamawan Fauzi. "Mr. Minister using Garuda Indonesia flight from Soekarno Hatta at 9:05 pm and is scheduled to inaugurate the Governor and Deputy Governor of West Kalimantan at around 11:30 pm," he said.

Cornelis and Christiandy will be inducted in the Special Plenary Session of the Legislative Assembly of West Kalimantan. However, this does not require a plenary session of the quorum of the members of parliament of West Kalimantan, in contrast to other plenary session. Special plenary agenda is the oath of office of governor and deputy governor.

Cornelis and Christiandy won the last elections in September 2012, followed by four pairs of candidates. They served as governor and deputy governor of the 2008-2013 period and re-paired in the elections of 2012.
