Set Jokowi Response to January 27

JAKARTA - The Provincial Government (Provincial) Jakarta finally enact emergency response related to the stagnant flood today.


"We enforce the emergency lasts until the 27th of January," said the Governor of Jakarta, Joko Widodo (Jokowi), told reporters at City Hall, Jakarta, Thursday (01/17/2013).

He said the emergency response was imposed due to high rainfall intensity is still going on.

During this emergency he continued, the city will continue to provide assistance to residents affected by flooding. "All ranks will continue to provide assistance in times of emergency," he said.

Previously, due to heavy rain in the Jakarta area, some of the main waterlogged crippled by high water from 20 to 100 centimeters.
