Isolated areas in Maluku to Rp 156.9 Billion


AMBON, KOMPAS.com - The central government allocated a budget amounting to Rp 156.9 billion to address the problems of isolation between regions in Maluku. The budget comes from the state budget in 2013 will be allocated to build a number of transport infrastructure facilities and infrastructure such as transportation access in the Moluccas.


Director General of Land Transportation Ministry of Transportation, Suroyo Alimoeso said, the budget of hundreds of billions, will be allocated to build a transportation infrastructure throughout the district town in Maluku. It was announced in a presentation before the Governor of Maluku Suroyo all Heads of Department of Transportation and City District Maluku during the event as the Technical Working Meeting of Civil Affairs in 2013 Maluku Maluku governor's office, Wednesday (23/01/2013).

"For the year 2013 this Maluku allocated budget of Rp 156.9 billion, these funds will be used to build a number of transport infrastructure in the Moluccas in order to overcome the problems of isolation in this area," said Suroyo.

Suroyo revealed, a number of projects and the construction of transport infrastructure in the Moluccas are still to be completed include the two aspects in the field of road freight traffic and freight traffic stream.

He hoped that the budget will be put to good use so that they can answer all the needs of the people of Maluku the availability of means of transport. Implementation funding through the state budget for the construction of transportation facilities in Maluku in 2013 it has decreased when compared to 2012 which reached Rp 197,931,498,000.
