Campus Is The Best Place to Start Business

The presence of Mark Zuckerberg makes an entrepreneur booming trend among the students. Not surprisingly, they continue vying to be the creator of the social networking site later.

Clothing and ClickMechanic PieBoy Founder, Andrew Jervis said, the university is the perfect place to start a business. Former students of Department of Entrepreneurship, added that there are several reasons why young people should begin their efforts early on.

Quick start, quick fail
In the UK, failure is often seen as a disability, as if a proof of incompetence in running a successful business in the future. Unlike the United States (U.S.). In the U.S., it is considered as a failure experience. No one likes failure, but it happens. Failure when starting a business at university make you have a safety cushion

Endorsement
Support for young entrepreneurs like students abound. There are various organizations that can be asked "for help". "Most likely your university will have its own people, as I did in a Manchester businessman. National Association of College and University Entrepreneurs (NACUE) and Shell LiveWire also runs a variety of events to help give entrepreneurs young students valuable skills and networking opportunities, "Jervis said.
In Indonesia, students who started an entrepreneurial can request financial assistance to the Directorate General of Higher Education (General Education) Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemendikbud). In addition, many companies and banks are also open entrepreneurial assistance program for students.

Keen to see the gap
The University offers the perfect environment for starting a business. Therefore, we are surrounded around the campus of potential customers, ie, friends, faculty, and local residents. So sales without time.
"My business student, PieBoy Clothing, saw a gap in the market for fashionable branded clothes at the university. Instead, he became a supplier at several universities across the country and still continues to this day," he explained.

Try before you apply for a job
Most college graduates will automatically look for a job in the company immediately after graduation. This is a reasonable action, but most of the graduates actually feel like their job and start dreaming about starting your own business. "How can you know whether you prefer the current trials and tribulations of starting a business if you've never tried?" he explained
Who knows?
Everyone probably already knows if Mark Zuckerberg founded the social networking site Facebook in his dorm room at Harvard University. "So, who knows you too could make the next big thing?" Jervis closed.
