Three Sumatran Tiger was born in Medan Zoo

Medan Zoo in Jalan Bunga Rampe, Village Simalingkar B, Medan, North Sumatra, now has a new occupant. Three Sumatran tiger pups born normally and koni in good health.

Three Sumatran tiger kittens were born in mid-October, with each weighing 1.3 kilograms and a length of 20 centimeters. They were born to a male tiger named Anhar and the 13-year-old female.

Zoo officials and the vets today re-check the health condition of the three tiger cubs. For a while, the three cute and adorable animal was separated from its mother.

Zoo Director Field Operations, M Ichwan Siregar, Tuesday (13/11/2012), claimed not meberi names to three Sumatran tiger cubs. Because gender is also unknown.

Furthermore, Ichwan said, the hard work is done zoo has successfully bred nine Sumatran tiger.

With increased collection tersbut tiger, he hopes in the future could do Medan Zoo animal exchange programs with other zoos in Indonesia.
