Current, Momentum Right Fuel to Gas Conversion LPG has been accepted by the society.

Government asked to use the momentum of the conversion from kerosene to liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) to realize the conversion of fuel oil (BBM) to fuel gas (CNG). Society has accepted the existence of LPG as a fuel gas that is safe compared to compressed natural gas (CNG).

Director of the Center for Public Policy Studies (Puskepi), Sofyano Zakaria explains, LPG
has several advantages compared to CNG. LPG CNG is lighter than the tube, because LPG does not need to be compressed as CNG.

"Layer in CNG tube must be thick, because it is designed must withstand high pressure," said Sofyano to VIVAnews, last weekend.

In addition, he explained, the cost to build the infrastructure of LPG is lower than CNG. CNG can only be distributed through pipes that are planted in the ground to the public refueling stations (gas stations).

While LPG can be distributed through a tube or tank cars like fuel for delivery to retail outlets.

Another thing that may be a consideration of the government, according to him, is the LPG has been accepted by the society. Currently, all street vendors
LPG has also dared to use size 3 pounds and no longer heard the news LPG cylinders exploded. That is, people have
understand the security of LPG.

"While CNG is the new stuff, people usually fear as it used to when first introduced LPG," he said.
