Jakarta Marine Festival 2012, with the theme 'Wonderful of Thounsand Island', was officially opened on the island of Java Fortunately, in the Thousand Islands South, Saturday (24/11/2012). Opening the festival was attended by a number of representatives of neighboring countries such as Cuba, Palestine, Libya, Poland, USA, Mexico, Venezuela, and Yemen.
Head of Culture and Tourism of Jakarta Ari Budiman, said the festival was organized in order to increase tourism in the Thousand Islands. "Fortunately island of Java is one of the many tourist islands in the Thousand Islands. Fortunately Java island easily accessible tourist," said Ari told participants at the event on the island of Java Fortunately, Saturday (24/11/2012).
Meanwhile, Regent Thousand Islands, Ahmad Ludfi welcomes festival conducted on the island.
