"Attacked Iran, Hezbollah and Syria not Afford Bantu"


JERUSALEM - According to an Israeli diplomat, Syria and Hezbollah's capabilities in providing military assistance to Iran have declined. If Israel attacks Iran, the two parties would be unlikely to help the State of Persia.


"The ability of Iran to attack Israel in response to our attack on Iran, has declined dramatically. Iranian response would be much weaker than expected," said the Israeli diplomat, quoted by Maariv, Thursday (03/01/2013).

Diplomat at Ministry of Foreign Affairs Israel's claim, Syria might use its military forces to support Iran because the government of President Bashar al-Assad down. Assad could have lost the strength to hold on to power when helping Iran.

Meanwhile, Hezbollah also would stay away from the feud and would not take the risk. That's because Hezbollah has been the support of Assad.

For approximately two years, the civil war engulfing Syria and it will indirectly harm Hezbollah. Hezbollah also has become one of considerable political organization in Lebanon.

Israel can blame the Lebanese government, Hezbollah if Iran intervened to help. And when Hezbollah attacked Israel, Israel will attack Lebanon course first.

As is known, in 2012, and Israel are also actively voiced threats to attack Lebanon who had fought with him in 2006. The threat was due to appear rocket attacks from Lebanon.
