21 alleged victims who were sheltering Mine Workers
JAKARTA-The miners were buried by landslides in illegal gold mining in the area of Mount Twin, Sinaresmi Village, District Cisolok, Sukabumi, West Java (Jabar), allegedly due to their shelter in a dangerous place.
Head of the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) Jabar, Udjwalprana Sigit, said the landslide was triggered by heavy rains that began Monday, December 10 afternoon. Some miners take shelter from the rain, but they also take shelter in a dangerous place.

Currently BPBD, amid the evacuation, assisted by volunteers from various agencies such as the 0622 and Basarda Kodim.
"Progress at this time, the evacuation process is still running," he said.
Reported previously, until Monday the joint SAR team conducting searches to find a miner was killed and four others seriously injured by a falling avalanche. They are found in the river Cipanengah.
It is estimated there are 21 miners were still buried. The amount is based on the testimony of the miners who was on the scene when landslides occurred. The miners are affected by landslide material of approximately 150 meter high cliff.
