Emergency Disaster Team was formed in East Manggarai

Borong, KOMPAS.com - Musin monsoon has arrived in East Manggarai entire region, covering nine districts. East Manggarai Government through the Regional Disaster Management Agency establish emergency disaster teams to anticipate the possibility of a natural disaster.


This was stated by Deputy Chairman of the Regional Representatives Council Manggarai East, Nurdin Wilibrodus Borong Bolong to Kompas.com on Monday (12/17/2012).

According to the area in East Manggarai especially prone to landslides during the rainy season. We have already started to rain in the East Manggarai so anticipated from now. Nurdin explained, the Government of East Manggarai should have social sensitivity, empathy for citizens. Especially with the weather conditions that occurred recently.

"Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) should establish an emergency disaster response team so that when there is a disaster in some areas, the team quickly took to the field," she said.
