Minahasa Choose New Leader 12-12-2012


MANADO, KOMPAS.com - On Wednesday (12/12/2012) tomorrow, as many as 264,193 residents Minahasa regency, North Sulawesi, which is registered in the voters list (DPT) will choose the Regent and Vice Regent of the period 2013-2018. Voters will go to 566 polling stations (TPS) in four constituencies in 22 districts.

"This designation will help increase voter turnout to use their voting rights," said Election Commission Chairman Minahasa, Meidy Tinangon, Tuesday (12/11/2012).

Another strong candidate coming from the couple Hangky Gerungan and Recky Tombeng carried Golkar Party and the Democratic Party. While couples Emma and Ferdinand Mewengkang carried Kaseger combined nonkursi party in parliament. And one more from independent candidates who carries Arianne Nangoy and Jeffery Mentu.
