Again, North Korea Threatens to Attack U.S.


Pyongyang, KOMPAS.com - The Korean government on Wednesday (27/02/2013), the United States warned that the land is within the reach of the country's nuclear weapons.


In an article uploaded to the unofficial news site Uriminzokkiri, a member of the National Peace Committee of Korea-a-propaganda agency says North Korea has now emerged as an independent nuclear state.

"The United States must be vigilant because now the U.S. mainland are within rocket range of our strategic nuclear weapons," the official said.

Not the first time that North Korea released a statement a threat to the U.S.. In October, the country is also said to have had a number of ballistic missile that could reach the U.S. mainland.

Although many analysts believe North Korea has been unable to produce long-range missile in the near future, but the rocket launch last December was a big leap for the country.

In addition, a successful nuclear test recently sparked fears that North Korea already has the abi; ladies technically adequate to put a nuclear warhead into a mini long-range missile.

After analyzing the North Korean rocket debris launched last December, the South Korean military estimated that rocket capable of reaching targets within 10,000 km. That means North Korean rocket capable of hitting targets on the U.S. west coast.
