Opposition Syria and Hezbollah Attack Each Other


BEIRUT - Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah accused the Syrian opposition group attacked a Shia Lebanese living in Syria. Nasrallah called a few people who were attacked were members of Hezbollah.


Previous Syrian opposition coalition also accused Hezbollah attacked villages now dominated piihak Syrian opposition. So far, Hezbollah is known as a close ally of the regime of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, who incidentally as opposed to the Syrian opposition.

"Residents in the Syrian Lebanese Shi'a, including members of Hezbollah, has absolutely no intention to fight the opposition. Instead oposisilah party who attacked the village where they lived, "Nasrallah said in a televised interview, as quoted by AFP on Thursday (02/28/2013).

"The opposition Syrian Lebanese Shia expel and burn their houses," said Nasrallah.

Hezbollah leader declared, some Lebanese Shiites who attacked the opposition in Syria has now returned to the territory of Lebanon. But there are also some who remained in Syria to fight back.

"Some Lebanese Shiites took up arms to fight the Syrian opposition. That is their right, they just want to protect themselves and their property, "said Nasrallah.

Nasrallah previously been linked with cancer and is undergoing treatment in Iran. Television interview conducted Wednesday, February 27th yesterday was a chance for him to deny rumors about the deteriorating health of Nasrallah.
