Ibas Yudhoyono resigns from Parliament

JAKARTA - Secretary-General (Secretary-General) Democratic Party, Edhie Baskoro Yudhoyno alias Ibas, officially resigned as a member of parliament per day. Ibas resignation because of his work in the party and he feared his role in the House is not maximal. 

"Officially, I resigned from my membership as a member of Parliament. Then I will concentrate on performing their duties as Secretary General of the Democratic Party, which in the coming days will be a lot of time, thought, and energy as a whole, "said Ibas during a press conference in room accompanied by Chairman of the Faction War Faction, Nurhayati Ali Assegaf, Thursday (14 / 2/2013).
   "Because if I was a member of the House, it is almost certainly my duty as a member of the House is not going to go well," added the youngest son of President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono is.

In addition, he said, Ibas also do not want to charge the matter to the relevant PD faction fighting for the people in the House. "So I will not give problems to load and PD parliamentary faction fighting for the interests of the people as well as critiquing and supporting the government's policy program," he said.

Ibas letter of resignation as a Member of Parliament has been forwarded to House Speaker Marzuki Alie, the Democratic Party chairman Anas Urbaningrum, PD faction Chairman Nurhayati Ali Assegaf, and Chairman of Commission I Mahfudz Siddiq.

"I am hopeful and determined to be complete my duties and obligations as Secretary PD until after the 2014 election," he concluded.
