Hartati Murdaya Sentenced to 2 Years 8 Months Jail
JAKARTA - The defendant bribery case management of leasehold certificates and business licenses of oil palm plantation land in Buol, Central Sulawesi province, Siti Hartati Murdaya eventually sentenced to two years and eight months by the Court of Criminal Acts of Corruption (Corruption).

"So with this, drop the criminal charges against the defendant Siti Hartati Murdaya, with imprisonment for two years and eight months minus time served, and ordered that the defendants were arrested," said Chief Judge Gusrizal Lubis, when reading the verdict at the Corruption Court in Jakarta on Monday (02/04/2013).
According Gusrizal, Hartati convicted on the first indictment, namely Article 5 paragraph 1 (a) of Law No. 31 Year 1999 on Eradication of Corruption Act as amended by Act No. 20 of 2001 in conjunction with Article 64 paragraph 1 of the Code of Penal Code in conjunction with article 55 paragraph 1, to-(1) of the Criminal Code.
In addition, the judges also imposed a fine of Rp 150 million, and if not able to pay the replaced imprisonment for three months. Judge also ordered the seized money more than 200 million seized in this case.
Judge to consider, Hartati damning thing is he cause uneven investment climate in eastern Indonesia, and does not support the government in fighting corruption.
